And for the girls that think it will make them look "hot", all it does is make you look stupid. The good guys like you for your personality and think you are beautiful no matter what you wear. I know this narrows down the singles pool by a lot, but it's worth it when you find Prince Charming.
Wearing clothing like this can really impact the impressions people have on you. Imagine going to the mall and seeing a girl wearing jeans and a tank top. Sensible clothing is the first thing that pops into your head. Then, you see a girl wearing a crop top and short-shorts, and you think wow who is she trying to impress? So ladies think twice before you compose your outfit for the day, as it can determine a lot!

I partially agree with this. I think that girls should wear "appropriate" clothing while attending professional situations and events like school and work. What I do think shouldn't be shamed is girls showing "too much skin." For me, personally, when I see people in a crop top and shorts I don't go straight to thinking "Oh man. They shouldn't be wearing that. It's showing too much." I usually just worry about myself. They can wear whatever they want. It's their life and they can make their own decisions. This is just my opinion, though, and shouldn't be taken to offence. Great post.
ReplyDeleteI 60% agree with this. I do feel Halloween stores should have clothes that fit all girls need for how much skin they want to show. I don't think though, that you should immediately think of that lady in the mall who is showing her skin as somebody who would want to impress somebody. We really shouldn't judge a book by its cover :). If I saw a lady showing her tummy and her butt cheeks the amount of cares I would give to her is none! If she wants to express her body that way, then let her! Maybe that specific outfit makes her feel confident, and maybe she wants to let people know she doesn't care they think! In the end, we all have a thigh or a belly button. And I think we all shouldn't judge people, because that's whats making this world cruel :).

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Sometimes I wear crop tops and shorts out in public. I don't know about you, but my personal intention isn't to find my true love at a local Home Depot.
DeleteI don't completely agree with you on this. I feel that girls do this because it in in style. Even though they may show off a little too much they are just trying to gwt attention. Guys don't notice you based on your personality they start talking to you based on what you wear. If you are in a paper bag guys wont come up and talk to you. Girls also do this because it is a lot of what you see in stores. Even though some girls become too slutty for most tastes. You can show skin without being considered slutty. You also cant blame girls for wanting to wear what they want. You need to be more strict with guys and how they can act. It isn't there fault for wanting to express them selves you need to blame males for being uncontrollable. But I cant say that you are wring that some girls do dress too slutty but the definition of that is so different now. And so many people miss use that word.
